Then, the arc jumps onto the stainless steel workpiece, and the high pressure gas blows the plasma out of the torch burner at an exit velocity of 800 to 1000 meters per second. Thus, the high energy released when the various gases in the plasma are restored to the normal state produces a high temperature of 2700 °C. This temperature is almost twice the melting point of stainless steel. Thereby the stainless steel is rapidly melted and the molten metal is blown away by the jetted high pressure gas stream. Therefore, it is necessary to use a smoke evacuation and deslagging device.
2. If the CNC plasma cutting machine is used improperly, it can also cause damage. For example, when cutting, the cutting nozzle is too close to the steel plate (generally 100A plasma cutting is usually not less than 3~8 mm from the steel plate), and the external input voltage is too high. Or unstable.
