How to protect plasma nozzle
1.Check airflow everyday
It is necessary to check the torch flow and pressure, if find that the air flow is not enough.
Please stop machine and check.
2.Perforation thickness should be within allowable range of CNC plasma cutting machine
In general, the perforation thickness is 1/2 quality thickness. For example, 100A quality thickness is 16mm, so the perforation is about 8mm.
3 .Do not use nozzle overload
Nozzle overload（it means that nozzle has overloaded the working current.）
4.Prevent plasma arc elongation
Plasma Arc stretching and expansion will occur at the beginning and end of cutting., if the plasma arc reach the surface of the work piece by stretching and expansion, This will damage to the nozzle. If you use the right edge-starting technique and choose the right arc-shutdown signal, this problem can be avoided.
5.Cutting should start from the edge.
Do not use perforation cutting . Using the edge as a starting point will prolong the life of the consumables. Use more edge as much as possible. The correct method is that nozzle align the edge of work piece and then start the plasma ACR.
6.Keep air dry and clean
7.Please check the correct gas pressure and flow of CNC plasma cutting.
8.Please clean slag frequently.
9.Please reduce unnecessary arc time
Nozzle and electrode consumption is very fast at Arc starting. The torch should be placed within the cutting working distance.
